Metropolis Coffee Company was born from the passion of a father and son team. When their hobby that started in a Seattle cafe grew into an established craft coffee brand with nationwide distribution, the Metropolis team wanted to reimagine their story for a broader audience.

Fueled by espresso and a father and son's (Jeff and Tony, respectively) shared passion for brewing, Metropolis Coffee Company started in the corner of a Seattle cafe. In the years since, they've grown their hobby into one of the foremost names in the craft coffee movement. As they prepared to enter new markets across the country, the founders felt their packaging and brand story could use a refresh — one that would help them stand out on the shelf and bring their brand to life in a whole new way.

From the beginning, Metropolis wanted their updated brand story, identity, and packaging to connect with people while elevating the look of the business and illustrating the premium quality their coffee's known for. We started by developing a brand strategy and story that embodied everything the founders wanted Metropolis Coffee to be, and crafted a succinct packaging story for the back of the bag. This story was only the first step as we developed new ways for Metropolis to share their story and welcome new consumers into the fold.
