NEVERLAND NOODLE BAR
You’re never too old to rebrand.
Neverland is a Taiwanese restaurant featuring the unique combination of a noodle bar and bakery, under one roof. Noodles and baked goods aren’t typically featured together, but they do have something in common that makes Neverland an anomaly in the market — the use of Jiahe brand flour. This unique pairing of raw flour with other fresh ingredients was the insight for EightySeven’s evolved Neverland brand.

The evolution of the Neverland restaurant sparked the need for a reframing of the brand. In order to attract a younger audience, Neverland needed an eye-catching logo and graphic suite to capture the attention of new consumers.
A strategic simplification of the restaurant’s brand name also helped to clearly communicate the offerings of both the noodle bar and bakery.
The diverse sides of the restaurant now exist and are cohesively expressed under the single brand: Neverland.

“The team is patient and dedicated to their artistry… EightySeven have been a pleasure to work with!
They understand your needs and I'm certain that you will be happy with the end product like I was. Highly recommended.”
Coco Lin, Owner, Neverland
With the goal of reaching a younger demographic, EightySeven leaned into the restaurant’s name, originally inspired by its head chef, Peter Pan. The use of playful characteristics in the wordmark create a seamless connection to the whimsical story of Neverland that we all know and love.
The spirit of the Lost Boys was also highlighted through charming hand-drawn illustrations of the restaurant’s main food groups: noodles and baked goods. Finally, all of the playful yet imperfect elements were rooted in a natural color palette, using tones derived from Neverland’s organic ingredient list of Jiahe flour, quality protein, and fresh vegetables.
